This album goes back to the days of no fillers.  You listened to an album from beginning to finish, no skipping, and you loved every second of it.  I don’t wanna knock hip hop artists of today but there was something to be said about the hard work and dedication that went into albums back in the day.  People weren’t putting albums out every couple months, it was more like every couple years because they really put all their time and creativity into making impeccable albums.  Plus this album has the distinction of having the first official released track featuring Nas.  Kinda cool to see how the greats started out.
