Jaymanila « Dopehug

So much golden production on this one. And this shit straight bumps! Freal, it should be listened to at high volumes for full appreciation. Well what can I say about Babbletron except for the fact that they are forever breaking all hip hop stereotypes and doing it with style I must say. Two White guys (DJ Pre & JayManila) and an Asian guy (Cool Calm Pete) producing hip hop goodies for the masses. I remember back when I first heard about them I had uploaded this album onto my i-pod and I would just have it on shuffle for the most part and I swear every time a really dope track would come on I would be like who is this?? And like 9 times out of 10 it was Babbletron. So I became a fast fan and you should too.

Babbletron – ‘ I Need to Be’

What Cool Calm Pete lacks in flow he makes up for with creative lyrics and humor. This dude cracks me up throughout this whole album, he is so funny. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s not like this album is one big joke, he talks about real shit too. He just manages to retain a sense of humor about life which is something we all should be doing. His flow takes a little getting used to but if you can get past his slow flowing style then this album can be hella fun to listen to.
